Elizabeth Hauke has a background in clinical medicine. Moving into the field of science communications, she has trained and worked as agency writer, before working as a freelance web designer and developer for several large UK-based organisations (both in academia and international health awareness and policy). She has recently completed a Masters degree in Science Media Production (specialising in radio and audio media) at Imperial College, London. Elizabeth writes, presents and produces 'Short Science', a weekly science radio show and podcast that is broadcast in the UK and Italy. She also writes for the Association of British Science Writers and reports for the Imperial College Podcast.
